Graduate students involved in intensive research and study can reserve a carrel on the lower level of the Music Library using the form below.
Reservations are based on the following order of priority:
- Doctoral students in Music Education, Musicology and ethnomusicology
- Doctoral students in Composition and Performance
- Masters students in Music Education, Musicology and ethnomusicology
- Masters students in Composition and Performance.
Carrels are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please do not request a carrel if you are going to use it only occasionally. Some carrels may have two persons assigned to them.
You may keep material of particular interest at your carrel for a full term (more precisely, the loan period is 90 days). However, items on carrel reserve are subject to removal by other readers. For example, it is inadvisable to reserve undergraduate textbooks or vocal scores of current local opera productions.
