The assigned carrels on the lower level are available to graduate students involved in intensive library research and study. Within this structure, carrels are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please do not request a carrel if you are going to use it only occasionally! Some carrels may have two persons assigned to them.

Course Reserves are physical copies of course materials that your instructor has set aside at the Music Library’s circulation desk. Course Reserve items are available as a 2 hour short term loan.
Make sure you bring it back on time as fines for Course Reserves items are higher than for regular books: $.50 per hour overdue.
