Happy New Year from all of us at the Music Library!

Jan Guise, Director, Music Library

The Music Library is OPEN throughout the month of January (see posted hours).

The University of Toronto Libraries (UTL) continue to follow public health guidelines to keep staff and students safe and healthy. These guidelines have changed recently due to fast spread of the Omicron variant. I encourage you to check the Music Library FAQs and the UTL COVID updates (yellow bar at the top of the screen) frequently for updates.

Reminders

Request a Hold: Did you know you can place requests on library materials that are in the stacks and pick them up at the service desk?

Book a Research Consultation:  Did you know you can “book a librarian” and meet one-on-one to get help finding sources for your essays? Book a 30 min meeting with one of our expert staff, at a time convenient for you.  Feel free to come back again and again to discuss new assignments or a get a refresher on a past meeting.

FOB Access:  the Edward Johnson Building is locked with FOB access and only those with FOBs may reach the Music Library. No FOB? No problem – you can choose to pick up your library materials at Robarts Library (see “Request a Hold” above).

Wear a mask: Masks are mandatory whenever you’re using U of T Libraries. It is University of Toronto policy to wear masks indoors in all common spaces, like libraries. Your mask protects our Library staff and library users around you.

Please contact us anytime for help or questions with any of our services.

Warm regards,
